VMC Programmer
This position will work first shift, specializing in 3-D and high-speed milling, utilizing Mastercam 2018. The majority of machining will be on hardened tool steel (H13, S-7, etc.) and will be done on our two high-precision Roders milling machines, one of which is five axis.
Applicants must have high attention for detail and be able to hold precise tolerances. Good communication skills are a must, as this position will be working in a close team environment.
Toolroom Machinist
This position will work within a team environment under the instruction of our CNC department Team Leader. Job responsibilities will include manufacturing pre-heat treated components and mold bases for the molding industry.
Tasks and activities include: Programming, using Mastercam 2018 or Pro Manufacturing, programming at machine control, machine set up (Hurco machining centers, including tooling, fixture, and vises), part inspection, and cleaning and maintaining the CNC working area.
Journeyman Toolmaker
Ability to read prints and run precision equipment, operate lathes, mills, surface grinders, and drill presses, etc.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances, using standard measuring instruments.
Repair worn or inoperable tools with high level of troubleshooting abilities.
Makes decisions and judgments about proper course of action for tooling repairs and maintenance.
Maintains a safe and productive work environment.
Strong understanding and experience in mold theory and troubleshooting.
Communicates with co-workers and lead to receive instructions and coordinates activities necessary to maintain production.
Additional overtime and Saturday work may be required to meet department and business demands.
Must be able to modify tool designs according to trial or production service data and to improve tool life or performance.
